Suzanne Wittebort
Associate, Portfolio Analyst,
Member, Investment Committee
Suzanne is a portfolio analyst and member of our investment committee. She assists in setting investment policy and monitors clients’ portfolios on an ongoing basis. In 2006 she earned the designation Certified Fund Specialist (CFS). Prior to joining Bragg Financial in 2004 she spent nine years with Moody’s Investors Service’s publications division, spun off in 1998 as Mergent, Inc. With Moody’s and then Mergent she served as editor in charge of investment handbooks including Moody’s Handbook of Common Stocks, Moody’s Handbook of Nasdaq Stocks, and Moody’s Handbook of Dividend Achievers. Before joining Moody’s she spent two years as a senior editor for Business North Carolina Magazine. Prior to moving to North Carolina in 1992, she served eleven years with Institutional Investor Magazine in New York and London in a variety of posts, including assistant managing editor and London bureau chief. With colleagues she was the recipient of the 1986 Overseas Press Club of America award for business reporting. Suzanne began her career in business journalism as a reporter for Fortune Magazine. Prior to joining Fortune she was a researcher for Time-Life Books and spent four summers as an intern with the Chicago Daily News. Suzanne graduated magna cum laude from Yale University in 1973, with honors in American Studies.

Suzanne is an active member and past president of the Queen Charlotte Chorus of Sweet Adelines International. She sings in the choir and is a cantor at her church, St. Peter’s Catholic, and volunteers at Samaritan House.
