Steven H. Scruggs
Director of Research, Portfolio Manager, Member of Investment Committee
Steve serves as director of research and senior portfolio manager for Bragg Financial Advisors. Steve is also the primary portfolio manager of our two mutual funds, the Queens Road Value Fund and the Queens Road Small Cap Value Fund. Prior to joining Bragg Financial Advisors in 1999, Steve spent three years as a product manager with GMAC Insurance and Reliance Insurance Companies. Steve earned his BA from North Carolina State University in 1992 and his MBA from Wake Forest University in 1996. He was awarded the right to use the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation in 2003. Steve is a member of the CFA Institute and the North Carolina Society of Financial Analysts.Steve is married and has four daughters.
Steve serves on the board of the Johnston YMCA and is chairman of the board of the Bethlehem Center of Charlotte.
